How to reach Schoenstatt

Schoenstatt as Place of Pilgrimage
is located in Vallendar, close to 8 km. north of Koblenz, on
the right side of the Rhine River. You can find a map of

Travelling by car or by bus
A3 Köln (Cologne)/Frankfurt to Dernbacher Dreieck (Triangle),
A48 towards Trier, exit Bendorf/Vallendar. A61 to Koblenz Kreuz
(Cross), A48 towards Köln (Cologne)/Frankfurt, exit Neuwied/Bendorf,
exit Vallendar, in Vallendar follow the signs for 'Schoenstatt'
Travelling by train
Vallendar has its own train station on the right bank route
of the Rhine River, between Wiesdbaden/Koblenz – Cologne. Long
distance trains (IC and EC) stop Koblenz. From there you have
connections to Vallendar either by train or by bus.

Here you can make an inquiry for your trip by train with the
Deutschen Bundesbahn Online. As your destination station write
either “Schoenstatt, Vallendar” or “Kolblenz Hbf”.

From Koblenz to Vallendar with Public Bus Transportation
From the main train station in Koblenz you can take Bus 8/8a
towards Vallendar/Bendorf.
The trip to the Vallendar train station bus stop takes
approximately 20 minutes.

From the bus stop at the train station in Vallendar, change to
Bus 7/7a towards Höhr-Grenzhausen. Exit the bus at the bus stop
in Schoenstatt.
The trip from the Vallendar train station to Schoenstatt takes
approximately 5 minutes.

You are at a five minute walking distance from this bus stop to
the Pilgrims‘ Center.
From the Vallendar train station it is a 20 minute walk.
